UNITED TOWING SERVICES INC. has a long and proud history. From our humble beginning on October 29, 1969 in Winnipeg, Manitoba until our present day opertions, there have been numerous memorable incidents and events in that history. We share with you some of the most outstanding occurences that help to define who we are today.
1975 KENWORTH C500 with HOLMES 850 Wrecker
The chassis for the unit was ordered from PARAMOUNT KENWORTH in Winnipeg, MB and the wrecker from AIRTH AUTOMOTIVE in Vancouver, BC. The chassis was built at the Kenworth facility in Richmond, BC and driven to the HOLMES factory in Chattanooga, TN by GARRY and his father where the wrecker was factory installed before being returned to Winnipeg and put into service on Dec. 26, 1975.
